This webinar aims to explore the gap between young professionals\u2019 skills and current labour market needs, drawing on recent data from the United Nations and private-sector organisations highlighting both skills shortages and emerging opportunities. It seeks to identify missing skills, question the alignment between educational models and sectoral realities, and discuss the potential of micro-credentials and flexible learning formats to better prepare people for the jobs of tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Building on her observation of highly educated young people (Master\u2019s degree holders and above), who will be key actors in shaping our future, Monique Dagnaud complemented her work with a third study (from May 2023 to early 2024) conducted with a Youth Assembly<\/em>, in order to better identify, by contrast, the aspirations of young people from disadvantaged urban areas who hope for upward social mobility.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is not one<\/em> youth, but many<\/em> youths. However, these young adults share a collective experience marked by major historical shocks: Covid-19, the return of war to Europe, climate catastrophes, the rift with the United States, and more. These experiences shape their imagination and worldview\u2014caught between anxiety and resilience\u2014as well as lifestyles that differ sharply from those of the previous generation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Publication in English of CIME\u2019s Second Book: The Hidden Faces of Innovation<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

In today\u2019s economic environment, as organisations continuously seek growth and development by optimising their innovation and creative potential, it is essential to understand critical issues and management practices related to both technological innovation and management more broadly. Based on nearly ten years of research and studies conducted within CIME Innovation<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, this book explores multiple facets of innovation through short case studies, most of them drawn from field research carried out by CIME\u2019s partner researchers and practitioners, and informed by empirical studies in national and international companies.
