The 7th Study Day of CIME Innovation<\/strong>, held today, provided a rich and inspiring experience. Centered on the theme of the making of expertise, talent, and skills<\/strong>, this event fostered constructive exchanges and promising reflections for the future<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Several key insights should guide decision-makers:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

💡 Expertise, skills, and talent develop over the long term<\/strong> and can partly be informal, making them difficult to transfer.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

💡 Organizations cannot overlook the analysis of actual work<\/strong>, and managers must be equipped to conduct it by engaging their teams in the process.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

💡 In response to ongoing disruptions in the environment, maintaining the right level of expertise requires working within an ecosystem<\/strong>, integrating the skills of external partners.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

💡 The transfer of expertise must also be considered in light of power dynamics within organizations and the strategies of their stakeholders<\/strong> (What incentive do I have to share my knowledge?), avoiding a naive approach to management.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

💡 The \u201cwar for talent\u201d<\/strong> is shifting from an aristocratic approach (identifying tomorrow\u2019s leaders) to a more inclusive model (developing all individuals within the organization).<\/p>\n

💡 Ultimately, the role of managers remains central in supporting and developing individuals within organizations<\/strong>, leveraging the expertise of HR functions, which should move beyond a support and data collection role.<\/p>\n
